Gilbert + Tobin is advising Nine Entertainment Co. on the sale of the ACP Magazines business (ACP) to the Bauer Media Group, one of Europe’s leading magazine publishers.
The transaction was announced on 4 September 2012. The sale price is confidential. ACP publishes titles including The Australian Women’s Weekly, Woman’s Day, Cleo, Take 5, TV Week, Australian House & Garden and Gourmet Traveller.
Corporate Advisory partner Rachel Launders is leading the transaction and is supported by a team including fellow partner Tim Gole (on the significant IT arrangements arising from the transaction) and lawyers Gail Christopher (Banking and Finance) and Jordan Kent (Corporate Advisory).
