G+T has acted for global technical services giant Jacobs Engineering Group on its Australian headquarters lease at 452 Flinders Street, Melbourne.

US-based engineering, architecture, technology and construction consulting firm Jacobs Engineering Group has entered into a new lease at 452 Flinders Street, Melbourne, leasing more than 9,300 square metres of A Grade office space from landlord Dexus Property Group.

G+T was able to bring to the transaction a deep understanding of both the business requirements and commercial needs of Jacobs, as well as extensive experience acting on Australian headquarter leases for major international and Australian based companies. This allowed G+T to successfully negotiate several complex problems and facilitate deal closing within the required timeframe.

The G+T team was led by Real Estate + Projects partner Steven Mackay and lawyer Isabelle Wong. The team worked closely with New York’s Fried Frank, which acted for Jacobs in the US.
