Our experience

We also acted on Betfair’s subsequent successful constitutional challenge to advertising restrictions in NSW and Victoria, which led to the lifting of prohibitions on advertising by “interstate” wagering operators.

Brookfield Multiplex – advising in defence of complex Supreme Court proceedings in relation to the construction of a number of high-end multistorey residential buildings in Sydney.

Warner Bros – representing Warner Bros in a dispute over the profits earned from local investors NAB and Leighton Holdings in one of the studio’s highest-grossing films, The Matrix.

Publishing & Broadcasting Limited (now CMH) – representing one of Australia’s leading media companies in litigation brought by rival television station the Seven Network regarding pay TV rights, in one of the largest and most complex competition cases conducted in the Australian Courts. We successfully defeated every claim made by Seven in the litigation.
