Phil is recognised as a leading Australian projects, construction and infrastructure lawyer. He has advised government and corporate clients on economic and social infrastructure projects and energy and resources projects for over 25 years, throughout Australia, Asia, Africa and the UK.

    Phil is particularly experienced in real estate, mining, transport, power/renewables and telecommunications projects and he has also advised on defence sector, hospital, school, and agribusiness projects. 

    He has held Adjunct positions with several leading Australian universities and is regularly asked to speak on the development and delivery of major and mega projects.

    Phil has a Masters Degree in Law (BCL) from University of Oxford where he was a Chevening Scholar. He also holds Bachelors Degrees in of Economics and Laws (Hons) from the University of Queensland, a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Australian National University and a Graduate Diploma in Governance from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
