Lucy Zimdahl

Lucy is a special counsel in Gilbert + Tobin's Energy and Infrastructure group.

Lucy is a seasoned litigator and has practiced in Australia, the UAE and the United Kingdom both for and against domestic and international clients on global disputes. She has expertise in arbitration (investment treaty, international and domestic), litigation, expert determination and adjudication. Lucy specialises in disputes in the construction, infrastructure and energy sectors but also has considerable experience across a varied range of commercial disputes for clients in other industries, including aerospace/defence, banking, finance, freight and property development.

Prior to joining Gilbert + Tobin, Lucy spent four years as a Senior Associate at another top tier law firm in Sydney.

Lucy has a (joint honours) Bachelor of Law and Spanish from the University of Edinburgh and was admitted as a Solicitor-Advocate (Higher Rights – Civil) in England & Wales. She has been admitted to practice in both England & Wales and NSW and holds current practicing certificates from both jurisdictions.
