About G+T

Innovation in Legal Project Management

In a highly competitive and rapidly evolving market, you need to be able to rely upon your expert legal advisers to deliver results as efficiently as possible.

We strategically plan and deliver high-quality work on time and budget – this is the G+T way, and it provides the clarity and certainty that businesses are looking for.

We lead the market

Our LPM team won 'Change Program of the Year' at the AIPM 2018 Project Management Achievement Awards (NSW), the 2018 'AIPM Chairman's Award for Innovation in Project Management', and were awarded 'Highly Commended' at the 2018 Financial Times Innovative Lawyer Awards (Asia-Pacific).

We are the first Australian law firm to have our senior lawyers independently certified by the Australian Institute of Project Management (the national professional body for project management). This accreditation recognises the capabilities and experience of our lawyers and gives clients absolute confidence in their ability to manage complex legal matters.

We are also the first Australian law firm to offer AIPM-endorsed training in legal project management to our clients and we are collaborating with the Law Society of New South Wales to provide this training to the broader legal profession.

More than just lawyers

Our lawyers are more than just legal advisers – they are strategists with deep industry knowledge that work with you to seamlessly deliver well-planned and efficient legal services. We don’t reactively manage – we use our industry expertise and data analysis to proactively manage and mitigate risk.

Our delivery approach draws upon best-practice tools and methodologies from traditional, agile and complex project management. We recognise the importance of enabling agility and flexibility whilst ensuring governance and performance.

Our lawyers are also supported by a market-leading team of certified legal project management specialists, who can provide additional expert advice and support for our largest and most complex matters.

A pragmatic approach to project delivery

Our matter management approach covers the key areas of strategy and planning, delivery and close-out. We supplement this with a suite of sophisticated project management and process enhancement tools to match the needs and capabilities of our clients.

  • Strategy and planning: delivering the right outcome
  • Delivery and communications: delivering the outcome right
  • Close-out: continuously improving our delivery
