As a long standing supporter of the work of artist Tony Albert, Gilbert + Tobin is excited to see Tony’s collaboration with celebrated fashion photographer Mario Testino, in his guest-edited April 2016 issue of Vogue Australia.

Tony’s 2014 work ‘Mr. Bluebird on My Shoulder’ is an important piece in Gilbert + Tobin’s current collection. He has also been commissioned to create a feature art installation for Gilbert + Tobin’s new Sydney office at Barangaroo.

The provocative and internationally acclaimed Albert has been appointed Australia’s first official Aboriginal war artist. He also recently won the National Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Art Prize.

Tony’s work acknowledging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander service men and women was unveiled in Sydney’s Hyde Park in 2015.
