Gilbert + Tobin is delighted to announce that their ’HyperView’ application has won the Community Choice Award in the 2021 Relativity Innovation awards.

HyperView addresses a classic problem faced during the course of litigation: the circulation of hyperlinked bundles of evidence between various parties. It is designed to focus on the distribution stage of this process, allowing external parties to access the hyperlinked work product from within Relativity. HyperView uses a side-by-side viewer that responds to document ID refences in documents to display the associated supporting evidence – without needing to move away from the source document.

Matthew Golab, Director Legal Informatics and R+D at Gilbert + Tobin is thrilled by this recognition from Relativity. “RelativityOne is a central part of our legal technology offering at Gilbert + Tobin. Building applications such as HyperView have allowed us to engage with the needs of Australian market in new, efficient and cost-effective ways. The platform’s development support and extensibility has allowed us to craft a pipeline of tools will fundamentally change the way technology is applied to litigation, benefiting both our clients and lawyers.

This competition is an annual event for the global Relativity legal technology community to come together and celebrate their innovations. G+T was the only Australian entrant to be listed among the finalists and win an award.
