Biography

Andrew is a partner in our Corporate Advisory group.

He has a broad transactional practice spanning private capital, mergers and acquisitions and equity capital markets, advising leading sponsors and corporates on complex and high-profile strategic investments, acquisitions and exits, as well as advising issuers and underwriters on IPOs and secondary offerings.

Experience

  • KKR (Infrastructure Fund) on its acquisition (alongside Skip Capital) of a 75% interest in Queensland Airports Limited, the operator of Gold Coast, Townsville, Longreach and Mount Isa airports.
  • KKR (Global and Asia Climate Funds) on its significant investment in CleanPeak Energy.
  • KKR (Growth Capital Fund) on its investment in Employment Hero.
  • KKR (Credit Fund) on the exit of its investment in Findex.
  • KKR-controlled Alludo on its proposed acquisition of ASX-listed Nitro Software by concurrent scheme of arrangement and takeover and related Takeovers Panel proceedings.
  • Qube Holdings on its acquisitions of MIRRAT (the dedicated roll-on, roll-off terminal at the Port of Melbourne) and a terminal at the Port of Albany in Western Australia.
  • Igneo Infrastructure Partners on the sale of its 15.3% stake in Adelaide Airport.
  • General Atlantic on its significant investment in El Jannah.
  • IFM Investors (Private Equity Fund) on its technology-focused investments in Tally Group and Novigi and related bolt-on acquisitions.
  • CVC on its investment in Australian Venue Co.
  • Livingbridge on its acquisition of Dimeo Cleaning Services.
  • Orica in relation to multiple institutional placements and share purchase plans to fund significant M&A transactions and its recent on-market share buy-back.
  • Jarden and Macquarie Capital on a number of transactions, including as lead manager and underwriter of IPOs, entitlement offers and institutional placements.
  • Virgin Australia on its initial attempt to undertake an IPO and re-list on the ASX.
