ASIC proposes to expand stablecoin distribution exemption

ASIC has proposed broadening the stablecoin distribution relief instrument to cover a second named stablecoin, reinforcing ASIC’s interim approach of treating such stablecoins as financial products ahead of a finalised regulatory framework.
