Gilbert + Tobin is advising Grant Thornton Advisors on the transaction under which Grant Thornton Australia will join the Grant Thornton Advisors multinational platform. The deal will see Grant Thornton Australia join the rapidly expanding group of nearly 20 aligned Grant Thornton firms spanning the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and the Asia Pacific region. The platform was established in January 2025 with the support of an investor group led by New Mountain Capital.

The G+T team advising on the transaction is led by partners Peter Cook and Karen Evans-Cullen, supported by Wes Bainbridge, Hugh Evans, Angus Wong, Albert Swann, Jack Stephens, Bodhi Morgan and Ethan Rosmarin.
