Gilbert + Tobin is pleased to have successfully represented the Nine Network in an appeal brought against it by regional television broadcaster, WIN Corporation Pty Ltd.

Appealing an April 2016 decision of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in which Gilbert + Tobin also successfully represented the Nine Network, WIN sought to prevent Nine from live-streaming its channels into WIN’s licence areas.

A highly significant case, the Court of Appeal has delivered its judgment disallowing the appeal and awarding Nine its costs.
