Gilbert + Tobin has advised leading private equity firm Adamantem Capital on the acquisition of a majority interest in Solar Battery Group, marking a significant investment in the rapidly expanding residential energy storage market.
The transaction underscores the increasing role of private capital in Australia’s clean energy transition, as households embrace battery storage in response to government policies promoting energy affordability, grid resilience and the transition to renewable energy sources.
