Alexandra Chubb

She has over 18 years’ experience in private practice across both transactional and litigation matters. She holds degrees in law and science and enjoys practising in legal areas involving scientific or technical complexity.

Alexandra has significant expertise in drafting and advising on a broad range of intellectual property and commercial agreements. She is also an experienced litigator, having acted for global pharmaceutical companies in major patent litigation and in a high-profile pharmaceutical product liability class action. Her advisory work includes the Australian Consumer Law, privacy and pharmaceutical regulation.

She brings this breadth of experience to her role as a knowledge lawyer in our Technology and Intellectual Property group. Alexandra supports the team by preparing current awareness and client updates, including analysing court decisions and proposed legislative reforms to discern potential impacts for our clients. She also develops and implements training initiatives, prepares and maintains precedents and other knowledge resources, and assists the G+T Innovate team with the acquisition, testing and roll out of legal tech tools and services to the group.
