Amelia Cooper

She is an experienced litigator specialising in intellectual property and has acted in major patent, trade mark and copyright cases in the Federal Court and High Court. Amelia is also experienced in contract and other commercial litigation in the NSW Supreme Court.

Amelia regularly advises on commercial and regulatory matters related to IP, including in the franchising and consumer law space, privacy and data breaches, Spam Act compliance and the Freedom of Information regime. Amelia also has supported clients conducting due diligence for M&A transactions as well as advised on licensing and IP portfolio management.

Amelia advises clients across all sectors, with a particular interest in the Technology, Consumer and Government sectors.
