He advises clients on broad range of environment and planning matters, including approval and modification pathways, land use disputes, regulatory investigations, compliance issues, voluntary planning agreements, pollution response management, contaminated land liability and remediation obligations, as well as environment and planning due diligence for corporate and property transactions.

Ben has experience acting for both project proponents and third-party objectors in contentious matters, regulatory investigations, enforcement actions, complex merit appeals and judicial review proceedings.

He advises project developers, sponsors and financiers across all sectors, with a particular interest in renewable energy, waste infrastructure and residential development projects.
