Brian is a partner in our Corporate Advisory group.With more than 30 years’ experience, he is a trusted adviser and market leader in M&A and capital transactions across the property, infrastructure, agriculture and financial services sectors.
Brian specialises in mergers, acquisitions and capital raisings for investment funds and companies. He also advises listed and unlisted entities on governance, strategic structuring and regulatory matters.
Recognised for his innovative and solutions-driven approach, Brian has advised on numerous landmark and ‘first-of-their-kind’ transactions throughout his career, shaping key developments in Australia’s capital markets and investment landscape.

Stockland, Scentre Group, LOGOS and AMP Capital on the establishment of their investment funds.
Public Sector Pension Investment Board of Canada (PSPIB) on numerous agricultural acquisitions through investment funds, creating a diverse multi-billion-dollar agriculture investment platform.
PBSIB, Australand, 360 Capital, Peet, Charter Hall, Goodman and Multiplex on takeover matters.
Stockland on its acquisition of Halcyon Land lease platform and Stocklands subsequent first capital partnership.
New Forests investment fund on its acquisition of Gunns Tasmanian Forestry assets.
Charter Hall, Westfield, Macquarie Atlas Road, Multiplex, Goodman, Mirvac, Sydney Development Trust, Hills Motorway and Macquarie Bank on various IPOs and stapling transactions.
Macquarie Bank Non-Operating Holding Company on its restructure into Macquarie Group.
Westfield on the Westfield Retail Trust merger and demerger of Scentre Group and Westfield Corporation.
AMP on proposals for its AMP Capital property and infrastructure businesses including management transaction rights.
Macquarie Atlas Roads on its demerger by Macquarie Infrastructure Group.
Goodman, Westfield, Stockland, Australand, Peet, Charter Hall and Macquarie Group on placements, rights issues and hybrid equity issues.
