She has extensive experience in multi-jurisdictional antitrust matters through her practice of over 10 years, which includes advising on large-scale mergers, regulatory investigations and inquiries, complex antitrust litigation and access regimes. Haidee also provides advice on competition and consumer law compliance across many industries, including the digital economy, financial services, energy and resources, transport and logistics, infrastructure, agrisciences and fast-moving consumer goods.
Prior to joining Gilbert + Tobin, Haidee’s experience includes working at the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) and top tier firms in Australia and New Zealand. Having spent several years as a senior investigator in Australia’s antitrust regulator, Haidee brings in-depth insights on strategic engagements with the ACCC to achieve her clients’ commercial objectives.
Haidee holds a Master of Laws (Global Competition and Consumer Law) (First Class Honours) from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) and Bachelor of Arts (Economics and Political Science majors) from the University of Canterbury (New Zealand). Haidee is admitted as a solicitor in the High Court of Australia, the Supreme Court of the Australian Capital Territory and the High Court of New Zealand.
