Nathan Cahill

Biography

Nathan is a partner in our Corporate Advisory group.

He works with major fund managers and financial institutions and large family offices to help them “win” whether it be business strategy, fundraising, launching their new ventures & funds, getting out of trouble or making investments.

Nathan has expertise across a vast array of financial products and asset classes including listed funds, hedge funds, private equity and venture capital, credit, real estate and infrastructure.

He was previously a partner with Minter Ellison and is the founder of iWithin, a wellness related coaching business. Prior to then Nathan spent time working on the investment side of venture capital and private equity and was involved in establishing successful businesses in the health and wellness industry. This real-world commercial experience has led to his reputation as having strong commercial acumen.

  • Metrics, Tanarra, Quintet, Investec, HPS, Intermediate Capital Group and Yorkway on their credit fund needs.

  • Ramius, Regal, Perennial, VGI, Frontpoint, Ellerston, Coaster Capital, BT Financial, and AMP on hedge and equity funds formation.

  • Northill/Hastings, Westfield, Dockside, Lidis, Hines, AEG, Plenary, Realside and Time and Place on their property and infrastructure funds.

  • Next Capital, IFM, Roc Capital, CHAMP, Odyssey, Advent, Anchorage, Allegro, Mercury, MLC and Quintet on private equity fund establishment.

  • Ellerston Capital, Carthona Capital, MH Carnegie, Brandon, EVP, KTM and Spring Capital on venture capital fund establishment.

  • Investment platforms including HUB24 on its establishment and numerous acquisitions, restructures, dealer group relationships and regulatory matters.

  • Listed funds for Metrics, Ellerston, Westfield, ING and Macquarie Group.

  • Family offices including the Packer, Fairfax, Schwartz, Alberts Gonski families.

  • Advisory firms including Prime, Lonsec, Sentry, Findex and Fortrum.
