Sarah is a special counsel in our Corporate Advisory group.She advises client across multiple sectors on public and private mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and matters relating to securities law and the ASX listing rules.
Sarah specialises in public and private mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and securities law, including ASX listing rules. With a broad industry background, Sarah advises clients across a range of sectors, providing strategic insights on both public and private M&A and complex private equity matters.
Sarah joined Gilbert + Tobin in 2017, bringing extensive experience from her time at a leading UK corporate boutique. During her time in the UK, she acted for private equity buyers in competitive bid processes, managing buy-and-build trade acquisitions and advising sellers on high-value trade sales and management buyouts.
At G+T, she has played a pivotal role in some of Australia’s most significant corporate transactions. Her track record also includes key advisory roles on significant infrastructure investments and the sale of major businesses in both the Australian and international markets.

Sarah’s experience includes advising:
National Employment Savings Trust on its acquisition of a 10% ownership stake in global investment manager IFM Investors.
Genex Power Limited on its approximately $375 million acquisition by J-POWER by way of a scheme of arrangement run concurrently with an off-market takeover offer.
United Malt Group Limited on its approximately $1.5 billion acquisition by Malteries Soufflet (whose major shareholder is French agricultural cooperative, InVivo Group) by way of a scheme of arrangement.
Australian Clinical Labs Limited on its unsolicited off-market takeover bid for Healius Limited.
Crescent Capital Partners on its acquisitions of Breathesafe and Green Leaves Early Learning and its sale of 24-7 Healthcare.
