Biography
Tom is a foreign lawyer admitted to practice in Ireland and England & Wales in our Energy, Infrastructure and Resources group.
Tom has extensive construction law experience gained both in Australia and internationally with particular expertise in disputes in the construction, energy and resources sectors.
Tom also provides ongoing contractual advice for large commercial contractors and subcontractors in the domestic Australian construction industry, including advising on the major Australian forms of construction contract with particular expertise in the Australian Standard forms of contract.
Tom is experienced in the various Australian security of payment regimes as well as other forms of dispute resolution including litigation, arbitration and mediation.
Prior to commencing his legal career, Tom was a professional rugby union player, representing Leinster in Ireland and the Melbourne Rebels in Australia.
