Caryn is a Partner and the Chief Knowledge and Innovation Officer at Gilbert + Tobin.
She leads the Gilbert + Tobin Legal Service Innovation team. This team provides specialised services to support our legal service delivery and innovates to deliver new tools and services benefiting Gilbert + Tobin’s practice and our clients. A former practising corporate lawyer, Caryn brings 15 years of experience in legal, knowledge management, legal technology, change management, transformation and solution design to her role. Caryn regularly works with a variety of in-house legal clients to explore opportunities for legal triage, better workflow management and automated service delivery.
Caryn is a regular speaker at legal technology and innovation conferences and was recognised as one of Australia’s top legal innovators in the Financial Times Asia-Pacific Innovative Lawyers Awards 2018.
Prior to joining Gilbert + Tobin in 2010, Caryn worked as a corporate lawyer both in Australia and the United Kingdom.
Caryn has an Accounting and Law degree from the University of New South Wales, a Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment and is a Certified Practising Project Practitioner.
