Gilbert + Tobin has advised longstanding client Pemba Capital Partners in connection with its majority investment in Vets Central.
Vets Central, which has recently acquired a range of highly successful vet clinics, intends to significantly expand its portfolio of clinics, and continue to focus on maintaining brand integrity and a co-ownership offering. The investment in Vets Central reflects the particularly high levels of pet ownership in Australia and complements Pemba’s existing investments.
The G+T team was led by Corporate Advisory partner Adam Laura with support from lawyers
Naomi Kora and Jackson Kang, and graduate Srivatsav Moorthy.
Adam said, “We are delighted to have provided support to our long-time client Pemba Capital Partners on this transaction, which has enabled Vets Central to complete on its initial pipeline of vet clinic acquisitions and seed an outstanding platform for future growth in the sector.”
