Gilbert + Tobin has advised longstanding client Pemba Capital Partners in connection with its acquisition of the group of companies operating as SACARE.
SACARE is a leading South Australian operator of supported accommodation and care services for people living with a complex disability and complements the existing Pemba Capital Partners portfolio companies that are operating in this space, including Oncall Group Australia and Ablecare.
The G+T team was led by Corporate Advisory partner Adam Laura and Head of Banking partner Gail Christopher, with support from Corporate Advisory lawyers Naomi Kora, Jared McLachlan, Srivatsav Moorthy and graduate Isham Sanjiv and Banking lawyers Alana Maloney and Grace McCarthy.
Adam said, “It is always our pleasure to work with Pemba and the highly talented management teams within their portfolio, and this transaction was no different. The acquisition of SACARE presented a fantastic opportunity for Pemba to build on its highly successful platform comprising Oncall and Ablecare and we are delighted to have been part of the advisory team helping to bring it all together.”
