Reliance Rail, a public-private partnership (PPP) formed with the NSW State Government, has built and owns the Waratah Trains on Sydney’s rail network, and is one of Australia’s largest PPP projects with a value of A$3.6 billion.
Caroline is a special counsel in Gilbert + Tobin's Banking and Infrastructure group.
She has had experience in a wide range of banking and financing transactions (including project finance, acquisition and general corporate financing) acting for both borrowers and lenders in Australia and in various countries around Asia.
Prior to joining Gilbert + Tobin, Caroline worked as a senior associate at another top-tier Australian law firm.
Caroline holds a BA Honours degree in History from the University of Durham in England and a Diploma in Law from the College of Law in Guildford, England. In addition to being admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, she has been admitted as a solicitor at the Supreme Court of England & Wales and the High Court of Hong Kong.
