Simon is a partner in Gilbert + Tobin’s Tech + IP group specialising in Technology + Digital.
His practice includes advising on all aspects of commercial transactions and strategic technology acquisition, specialising in technology intensive and complex supply and services arrangements.
Simon’s experience includes advising senior management on the adoption of emerging technology and digital platforms, including blockchain, robotics/automation, new payment systems and other FinTech. He is an expert on the outsourcing of key business operations and the commercialisation of business assets, including data.
He also has experience developing novel multi-party sourcing models and negotiation of large scale “bet the farm” technology deals.
Simon has a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce (Information Systems) from the University of New South Wales.
